COVID-19 Updates:

Effective Monday, July 27, Tolon will be following state guidelines outlined by Governor Holcomb regarding the health and safety of Hoosiers in response to COVID-19. We ask that everyone that comes to Tolon to please wear a mask. You are not required to wear a mask while at your table so that you can enjoy your Tolon food and drinks. This applies to inside and outside dining as well as the bar area. In order to follow guidelines, we do ask that you wear your mask when you enter, exit, and use the restrooms. We did not create these rules, but we are following them to the best of our abilities. We will continue to social distance our tables, sanitize our space regularly, and our staff will always be masked. We ask for your continued kindness and gracious response at this time as we are simply trying to follow the rules for the health of our fellow Hoosiers during this new reality.   • Service hours Wed-Saturday 4-9 pm (subject to change as demands warrant)
  • Encouraging guests to call for reservations.
  • Guests exposed recently or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or a fever should not enter.
  • Tables will be at least 6 feet apart (we will be seating every other table).
  • Limited number of guests per table to 6 or less.
Our promise to our guests:
  • All staff will pass a health check that includes daily temperature checks upon arrival.
  • All staff will wear a face mask.
  • Surfaces that customers and staff come into contact with including all public surfaces will be sanitized with sanitizer agents at least three times per shift. This includes all bar tops, tabletops, public restroom vanities, light switches, chairs, door handles, toilets, etc.
  • All tables & chairs will be cleaned & sanitized after every use.
  • All indoor & outdoor seating will comply with appropriate social distancing guidelines.
  • Guest parties will be limited to 6 or less guests per table.
  • We will continue to be a leader in safe food handling & sanitation practices as outlined by Allen County Board of Health.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry & exit and at all key points in restaurant for staff & guest use.
  • All staff will adhere to hand-washing protocol & will wash their hands every hour with soapy, hot water in addition to normal procedures required by the Allen County Board of Health.  This will include any time they come in contact with soiled dish & glassware.
  • Menus will be single use. Place settings & utensils will be cleaned & sanitized after every use.
  • All food prep will be done per Allen County Board of Health code.
  • Staff will be directed to limit touching of others.  This includes hugs, high-fives, fist bumps, & handshakes.
Guest promise to us:
  • If guests have been exposed to COVID-19 recently or have symptoms of COVID-19 (including fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please help us keep everyone safe by using our contactless delivery service via Waiter on the Way.
  • If guests have underlying health conditions or are otherwise concerned about contracting COVID-19, please feel free to use our contactless delivery option via Waiter on the Way.

Delivery & Curbside Pick Up

Dear #tolon family,

We have missed all of you dearly! We cannot wait to see all of your faces in person. Thank you to all who contributed to our GoFundMe page & offered support during this time! We are in good spirits & ready for the future thanks to all of you!

We are excited to announce we will be reopening for curbside carry out & delivery ONLY beginning May 1 until further notice. Delivery will be available through our friends & fellow community supporters, Waiter on the Way. Current hours (subject to change) will be Wed-Sat 4-9 pm.

We encourage guests to utilize paying over the phone & to use our curbside service to avoid entering the restaurant. (We will not be taking orders via social media or by email.)

We have been busy working hard to spring clean and provide a safe environment for our staff and all of you.
